Yes — practitioners and companies both register free. Companies get 10 starter credits (enough for 5 job posts) and earn more through good ratings, or top up later. Practitioners start with 5 credits.

No. Accreditation is optional — you can add your QCTO or professional-body details to earn a Verified badge, but your rating and track record on real jobs are what move you up the rankings.

Any South African Facilitator, Assessor or Moderator, and any training company or skills-development provider. Famasa is QCTO-era and not tied to any single SETA.

Every star you receive becomes a credit (a 5-star rating = 5 credits). Companies spend 2 credits to post a job; applying is always free. Credits raise your ranking in the directory and power your recommendation on Skivo. See the full Credits & Fair Play guide for the complete breakdown.

After a job, both sides rate each other from 1 to 5 stars with an optional comment. Companies rate practitioners on quality and reliability; practitioners rate companies on professionalism and payment.

Any account that falls below a 2.5★ average (after at least 3 ratings) is automatically suspended — companies can't post, practitioners can't apply — until the situation is resolved.

Register as a practitioner, open the Jobs Board, and click Apply on any open job. The company then sees your full Famasa profile and rating.

Your profile appears in the public directory, ranked by rating and credits. The better your track record, the higher you appear — so companies reach out and re-book you.
