Terms Of Service
Last updated 2026. By using Famasa you agree to these terms.
1. About Famasa
Famasa (famasa.co.za) is an online network that connects training companies with Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators in South Africa. Famasa is a listing and reputation platform only — it is not a party to any agreement, engagement or payment between practitioners and companies.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. One person or organisation, one account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
3. Ratings, Credits & Fair Play
After a job, both parties may rate each other honestly. Credits are an in-platform reputation mechanic with no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. Accounts whose average rating falls below the published threshold may be automatically suspended. Manipulating ratings — including fake accounts, coordinated rating, or ratings for jobs that did not happen — is prohibited.
4. Conduct
You agree not to post false, misleading, unlawful, discriminatory or abusive content, not to misrepresent your qualifications or accreditation, and not to use Famasa to harass others or to scrape, disrupt or attack the service.
5. Engagements & Payment
Any contract, fee, scope of work and payment arrangement is strictly between the practitioner and the company. Famasa does not employ practitioners, does not guarantee work or payment, and is not liable for disputes arising from engagements arranged through the platform. Rate Advisor figures are general market guidance only, not a quote or a fixed rate.
6. Accreditation
Accreditation is optional. Verified badges reflect details supplied by users; Famasa does not independently guarantee any accreditation, registration or qualification. Always verify credentials directly for compliance-critical work.
7. Liability
Famasa is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Famasa is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or from any engagement arranged through it.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Contact us.
